DESCRIPTION:  \nSymposium of the Hearing & Language Committee of the Union of European Phoniatricians (UEP) \nListening Difficulties in Children\nNeurological Markers\, Assessment\, and Intervention \nDear colleagues\, researchers\, students\, and friends\, \nIt’s our pleasure to announce the international symposium of the Hearing & Language Committee of the Union of European Phoniatricians (UEP) on the topic of  \nListening Difficulties in Children: Neurological Markers\, Assessment\, and Intervention on September 20th 2023\, 2:15 pm - 8.45 pm Central European Summer Time (CEST).The symposium is organized in cooperation with the Audiology Committee of the International Association of Communication Sciences and Disorders (IALP) and hosted by the Dept. of Phoniatrics & Pediatric Audiology\, University Hospital Muenster\, Germany.A great program awaits us with excellent guest lectures from Australia\, New Zealand\, USA\, and Germany. For those\, who are not able to participate in person\, we provide the online participation for the whole program. \n  \n

SUMMARY:Inaugural Joint Meeting Between BLA and UEP
DESCRIPTION:The BLA and the UEP will join forces to present a one-day meeting on voice-related topics. \n\nThe meeting will offer a comprehensive update in Voice disorders including care of the professional voice.\nYou will gain information in the latest strategies to address vocal fold scar and sulcus\, an opportunity for debate\,including latest developments in treatments in airway development including post Covid complications and stenosis\nAttendees will get a grounding in current assessment and management of swallowing disorders affecting the upper oesophagus. This will include up to date surgical and endoscopic interventions. Complex case management will be reviewed in DepthPresenters from around Europe will be speaking on topical subjects and new directions in voice care.\nThis meeting will be of interest to ENT surgeons\, Otorhinolaryngologists with interest in Phoniatrics or Laryngology\, Consultant Laryngologists and Phoniatricians\, Speech and Language Therapists\, Voice coaches and acousticians.
