Number of members 1999: 90 members Joined, as affiliated society, The International Association of Logopedics and Phoniatrics [IALP] in 1977. Goals 1) Promotes and guards the spread of remedial, curative, and preventive clinical services in Egypt and in neighboring countries. 2) Promotes and guards the educational and training programs in the field of communicative sciences and disorders. 3) Promotes the research activities-field, clinical, and experimental domains-in the field of communicative sciences and disorders. 4) Enhances international relations in the field of communicative sciences and disorders professionally, educationally, and clinically. 5) Promotes the care of the communicatively disabled persons. - Special tasks Co-hosted several multinational meetings as well as the XXIII IALP World Congress. |
