Abrol, 1995 We have started the Voice Foundation in India as I am the only Otolaryngologist who has been practising Laryngology and Phonosurgery, since my return from training in Europe, U.S.A. and Japan under W.H.O. Fellowship. I was trained with pioneers in this field. I started the first Laryngeal Diseases and Voice Disorders clinic at the most prestigious and pioneering institutions-The All-India Institute of Medical Sciences at New Delhi (India). it had been my endeavor to devote my professional work as well as gear all efforts towards the advancement of this specialty in my country. I have conducted more than 60 post graduate and C.M.E. programs at my center and trained more than 1200 E.N.T. surgeons by stimulating their interests and initiating them into this specialty. We have a bulk of clinical materials but minimal facilities for an excellent Voice laboratory. We need your guidance, advice, help and encouragement for achieving our targets. We have therefore, collected a large number of professional and para-professional personnel and started Voice Foundation India International. We have the following 5 subdivisions under this organization. 1) Association of Laryngologists and Phonosurgeons of India (ALPS). 2) Association of Phoniatricians of India (API). 3) Rhetoric Club of India (RCI). 4) Music Club of India (MCI). 5) Laryngectomee Club of India (LCI). It was conceived as early 1973, however we got it registered in 1980. We have tax-exemption for this organization. We are procuring a piece of land to set up our head quarters.
