Since 1987, 25 scientific meetings related to singing were organized in close cooperation of the Dept.
of Phoniatrics and Pedaudiology at Charité Hospital (Wolfram Seidner) and the Berlin
Conservatoire (Renate Faltin). Main topics covered the field of phoniatrics, voice physiology and
acoustics, voice training and teaching, history of voice sciences and singing, and others like aesthetics, musicology, psychology.
