| Bogdan, Constantin M.D., Ph.D. born March 4, 1932 in Grigoreni-Tighina, attended the courses of the Faculty of General Medicine in Bucharest between 1953-1959. After having been specialized in ENT between 1962-1965, he specialized in Phoniatrics with prof. Seeman and prof. Sedlaçková at the Phoniatrics Clinic in Prague in 1972. Since 1973 he has been organizing and developing the first Phoniatrics Department (with 40 beds) in the country with a team consisting of Phoniatricians, neuro-psychiatrists, a psychologist, logopaedicians, pedagogues. Within the Medical Centre of Phono-audiology and ENT Functional Surgery in Bucharest. He has been approaching various aspects of Phoniatrics with emphasis on stroboscopy and sonagraphy in investigation and phono-surgery and voice teraphy. In1980 he presented as priority in the field the paper The use of insulin in the treatment of vocal nodules at the Washington IALP Congress. He has written a Phoniatrics book now under printing and published two novels on the physicians life. Beside universitary and postuniversitary teaching, contributed to the secondarily specializing in Phoniatrics of several ENT physicians. He was elected as member of the UEP Board between 1978-1984. He is Dr. sc. med and chief of the Phoniatrics department in the Medical Centre of Phono-Audiology and ENT Functional Surgery in Bucharest-Romania. No update available! |
