Zumsteeg, Harold Dr. med. October 13, 1874 - August 12, 1963 head of department 1922 - 1924 Student of Fraenkel and Gutzmann senior worked all his life predominantly as an ORL specialist in Berlin.
		Dealt, as an army doctor, with problems of the commanding voice primarily, enlarged the developing specialty from this point of view. Privat assistent with Gutzmann senior in the Berlin-Zehlendorf clinic for voice and speech/language disorders. Publications among others „On giving orders“ and „On phonasthenia“. Head of the Charité department after Gutzmann’s death. Continued the job of his former teacher at the social hygienic academy Berlin-Westend with lectures on deaf-mutes and speech pathology and also at the educational seminar of the city of Berlin.
