
The Union of European Phoniatricians (UEP) is proud to officially announce the recipients of the UEP Young Phoniatrician Award 2025. This prestigious award recognizes outstanding young professionals who have demonstrated excellence and measurable contributions to the field of Phoniatrics.
Following a rigorous and transparent evaluation process chaired by Prof. Khalid Al Malki , the following recipients were identified based on their academic qualifications, clinical development, and professional engagement:

Dr. Samira Ira Zabaneh achieved the highest evaluation score in her category. Her profile reflects a strong academic foundation and dedication to the specialty.

Dr. Mariam Shadi was selected for her sustained academic development, clinical expertise, and meaningful contributions to Phoniatrics.
The official presentation will take place during the EAP Training Course in Vienna, February 12–14, 2026.
