Official Announcement: UEP Young Phoniatrician Award 2025 Recipients

The Union of European Phoniatricians (UEP) is proud to officially announce the recipients of the UEP Young Phoniatrician Award 2025. Recognizing outstanding young professionals who have demonstrated excellence, commitment, and measurable contributions to the field of Phoniatrics.

The UEP Young Phoniatrician Award 2025 is generously sponsored by Soluvos Medical, whose support contributes to the sustainability and growth of initiatives promoting excellence among young professionals in our field.

🏆 25–35 Years Age Category Winner

Dr. Samira Ira Zabaneh achieved the highest evaluation score in her age category. Her profile reflects a strong academic foundation, dedication to structured training in Phoniatrics, and active engagement in scientific and clinical development. Her accomplishments embody the spirit of excellence and forward-thinking commitment.

🏆 36–45 Years Age Category Winner

Dr. Mariam Shadi was selected as the award recipient following a comprehensive evaluation and consensus of the Committee. Her professional journey demonstrates sustained academic development, clinical expertise, and meaningful contribution to the advancement of Phoniatrics within her professional community.

Award Ceremony: The official award presentation will take place during the EAP Training Course in Vienna, February 12–14, 2026.

UEP Resident Scholarship (CEORL-HNS 2026)

What’s offered? Free congress registration plus 400 Euros travel grant for the 8th Congress of European ORL-HNS, Gothenburg, Sweden, April 25–29, 2026.

• Eligibility: Resident ≤35 years old, active UEP member, and first author of a submitted abstract.
• Deadline: September 28, 2025.
